The EX700 cycling shoe from Shimano is very sporty and is suitable for versatile use on the mountain bike or bicycle. The material of the upper shoe is sustainably designed with a material mix of 9% recycled mesh and a midsole made of 20% recycled material (by weight). For a secure fit and good hold, the EX700 can be adjusted with three straps as well as the BOA L6K twist lock. An EX midsole with EVA foam layer provides cushioning in the heel area and when walking, as well as efficient power transmission to the pedal. A wider contact surface on the forefoot provides a secure grip on different surfaces and ensures less rattling of the shoe plate when walking. The Shimano EX700 is recommended for PD-M8120, PD-EH500 pedals.
